How does "The Vampire Diaries" celebrate Thanksgiving? Well, they make it a Friendsgiving at the dorms, and that's what's coming up in next week's episode 608, "Fade Into You," for which the CW released a new preview on Thursday, Nov. 13.
In the latest "TVD" episode, Elena made a very risky move and crossed the border into Mystic Falls to try to get her memories back, but Damon pulled her back before she could get more than a few flashes. He then told her that he loved her enough to let her go and left her at her dorm (where Liam then confronted her about being a liar with secrets) and went to drink in the cemetery. That's where he got a bit of hope, however, as he stumbled across Bonnie's bear, which she sent home with her magic to keep Kai locked up in his prison hell.
This next episode will see Caroline and Elena preparing to host Friendsgiving at the dorm, and they receive hopeful news from Alaric and Stefan, who have traveled to Portland to gather information about the Gemini Coven. Dinner takes a drastic turn when Jo, who has revealed painful details about her past, finds herself fighting for her life. Alaric is left scrambling to help from a distance.
Meanwhile, Tyler is determined to help Liv after she and Luke reveal disturbing information about their witch lineage and the impending plans their coven has for them. Finally, Kai makes a dangerous discovery that brings him one step closer to his release.
The "Fade Into You" promo shows Stefan checking if Damon was invited to Friendsgiving. Well, maybe this Friendsgiving is one that's better to skip because it looks like Elena's just going to blurt out to Liam that she's a vampire, as one tends to do over turkey and rolls.
