A psychological thriller that examines the lives of two hunters. One is a serial killer (Jamie Dornan) who stalks his victims at random in and around Belfast and the other is a talented female Detective Superintendent (Gillian Anderson) from the MET who is brought in to catch him.
If you’ve thought that the first two episodes of “The Fall” season 2 really layered on the intensity, we have one message for you about the third one: Things are only going to get crazier! After all, we’ve got some of the first concrete details for you below, and they really prove that there is quite a lot to look forward to when it comes to this series.
We’ve already got a few of the details regarding next week’s installment now (which technically airs on American Thanksgiving, not that this matters to British audiences), and you can take a look at a lot of that and then some below:
“Gibson (Gillian Anderson) orders extensive surveillance on Spector’s (Jamie Dornan’s) family, believing they will lead them to Paul, whose whereabouts remains unknown.
“As the search for Rose Stagg (Valene Kane) becomes ever more desperate with each passing hour, a near miss between Spector and Gibson makes their cat and mouse hunt personal. Spector, directing his fury at Gibson, trespasses into her private world, delighting in taunting and provoking her.”
Let’s just hope that we do see Gibson get a little bit closer to figuring things out when it comes to his location soon. We never want to see the police struggle for too long, and we feel like this show can really rise to another level when we have Anderson and Dornan in the same place.
Plus, we still don’t know if there will be a third season. Best to make the most of the characters right now.
